You ever wondered what a game is exactly? The article "what is a game anyway" will tell you exactly what a game is and how to create one. 

This article shows that everyone has a different perception on what a game is for example when the word game comes to mind some people may think of a board game, some may think of a game of cards, some may think of a video game all of these are games but their just all different types of games.

Coming up with an idea to create a game may be simple which was shown in the paragraph above but getting a good idea is a different story. They show the different ways some of them find ideas and to see how some of them come up with ideas is rather interesting.

There are four basic methods for generating ideas and they are:

  • Concentration
  • Brainstorming
  • Scamper
  • Ramsey
The article "four basic methods for generating ideas" goes into detail on each one of these methods. For example the method "Scamper" each letter in the word is a reference to another method. The words are:

  • Substitute
  • Combine
  • Adapt
  • Modify
  • Put
  • Eliminate
  • Reverse

    It's clear to see that you understand all of the articles that you read and it's always nice to read someone's thoughts and opinions on it. I personally had trouble reading and understanding the second article but it is what is, I got the gist of it.
